GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Royal Oak SICU team is a dynamic, high‑acuity service within a Level I Trauma Center, providing comprehensive surgical critical care to the region’s most severely injured and complex patients. This team is composed of highly skilled APPs and Physicians who work collaboratively to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced academic and trauma‑intensive environment.

APPs on the Royal Oak SICU service are integral members of the multidisciplinary critical care team and are trained to manage critically ill trauma and surgical patients throughout the continuum of care, from initial resuscitation through ICU management and transition of care.
