Position Overview
HCW Qualifications:
Degree/Education: A graduate Physician Assistant qualified by academic and practical education to provide patient services as a physician extender under supervision of a physician is required. A graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF is required.
Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: The HCWs must maintain, at the contractor's expense, current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C) or the client Healthcare Provider Course (cards must display the American Heart Association or Military Training Network emblem).
