Black Hills Surgical Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our surgical practice in Rapid City, SD.
* Team is comprised of three Anesthesiologists and twenty-two CRNAs to cover eleven operating rooms in a care team supervision approach.
* Duties would include a robust regional practice shared between the anesthetists and anesthesiologists with a devoted Block Nurse running the latest in GE ultrasound units, reaching approximately 6000 blocks per year.
* Oversight of the pre and post anesthesia care units and ensuring patients are properly cleared for surgery in conjunction with a pre-anesthesia testing clinic.
* Collaboration with surgeon and nursing alike on complicated patients, ensuring safe anesthetic delivery.
* Our practice offers a great work, recreation balance with flexible shifts and minimal weekend engagement.
