GENERAL SUMMARY:

Perform PT evaluation and diagnose movement dysfunction; use interventions to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.

Contingent Physical Therapist coverage needed:
+ July through October: Approximately 16 hours/week (Two 8-hour days, Tuesdays and Thursdays preferred)
+ October through January: Opportunity available for up to full-time hours based on candidate availability

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers.

+ Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards.

+ Communicates with co-workers, and other professionals, including physicians and nurses as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

+ Functions as a team member in care of patients and in mentoring with other staff.
