This Manchester-based secondary school are seeking a Phonics Intervention Tutor who is able to inspire and redirect the energies of disaffected students, to join their small, close-knit team as soon as possible.
Phonics Intervention Tutor – The Person:
2:1 or higher with a degree in English or EducationPatient and nurturing dispositionMust wish to train on a contract basis, before transitioning to a permanent contract with the schoolGood knowledge of, and experience working with, Read Write, Fresh Start, or another Phonics programmeExcellent interpersonal skillsAffinity for pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficultiesGrowth mindset and positive ethos Phonics Intervention Tutor – Benefits:
