Job Description
This role focuses on providing high-quality phlebotomy services, including blood draws and specimen collection, while supporting workflow efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with training as needed. The Phlebotomist II ensures accurate specimen handling, maintains regulatory compliance, and delivers courteous, patient-centered service across all age groups.
Responsibilities

+ Perform blood draws and venipuncture using straight needles and butterfly needles, including hard-stick patients, across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

+ Collect and store blood, urine, fecal, and other specimens according to established procedures and protocols.

+ Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
