Hiring a Phlebotomist!
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-savvy phlebotomist with excellent customer service skills to join our team at a patient services center in East Elmhurst. This role requires experience in phlebotomy, preferably over two years, and proficiency in using straight needles. The phlebotomist will be responsible for entering patient information into the system, drawing blood, and processing samples.
Responsibilities

+ Perform patient entry upon arrival.

+ Conduct 20-40 blood draws per day using straight and/or butterfly needles.

+ Enter data and process samples, including labeling specimens.

+ Handle specimen collection and storage according to established procedures.

+ Record maintenance data and perform decontamination tasks.

+ Update patient information in the internal system.

+ Demonstrate techniques for blood collection using various needles.
