Roles & Responsibilities :
To identify the patient before performing a collection To screen and collect sample from the patients To collect the correct amount of sample for the ordered test To label the collection correctly To choose the appropriate collection equipment To transport lab specimens responsibly To communicate and interact effectively with patients and other medical professionals To understand and practice ethical behavior To maintain documentation and records To maintain the integrity of the sample and collect adequate amount To do Home Visit for collection as and when required To comply with patient safety policy. To ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system.
