Job Description
This role performs advanced phlebotomy duties in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting, supporting high-quality specimen collection, handling, and processing. The Phlebotomist II assists with troubleshooting, training, and workflow improvement while delivering courteous and clear communication to patients and healthcare staff.
Responsibilities

+ Perform blood draws using venipuncture techniques, including straight needles and butterfly needles, in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Collect and store blood and other specimens, such as urine or fecal samples, according to established procedures and protocols.

+ Clearly and courteously explain the venipuncture and specimen collection process to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.

+ Match laboratory requisition forms with specimen tubes to ensure accurate identification and prevent errors.
