The Phlebotomist I works in a fast-paced clinical laboratory and patient service setting in Tulsa, OK, supporting patient care through accurate and timely specimen collection, processing, and handling. This role combines hands-on phlebotomy with strong customer service, ensuring patients feel informed and comfortable while all samples meet strict quality, safety, and documentation standards.
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture using straight and butterfly needles to collect blood specimens safely and efficiently.

+ Conduct high-volume blood draws in a hospital or laboratory setting while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

+ Collect, label, centrifuge, process, and store specimens according to established protocols to ensure sample integrity.

+ Verify patient identity using appropriate identifiers and ensure accurate documentation for all specimens collected.
