Perform venepuncture for blood specimen collection and ensure timely dispatch to the laboratory. Update electronic medical records to reflect collected and dispatched blood specimens. Conduct blood sugar checks using point-of-care testing (POCT) machines. Assist nursing staff with oxygen administration to patients. Help patients perform lower limb exercises to promote mobility. Manage inventory effectively within the ward. Support healthcare personnel in repositioning patients in bed. Collaborate in identifying and implementing improvements in Phlebotomy service work processes. Orient and guide new Phlebotomy personnel as necessary. Undertake additional duties as assigned by nursing supervisors. Requirements
