The pharmacy intern is responsible for assisting in the developing, implementing, and evaluating the pharmacy technician training program. This role ensures the program meets accreditation and regulatory requirements, prepares students for certification and workforce readiness, and fosters relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support clinical training experiences..
Program Oversight and Development
Design, implement, and continuously improve curriculum and instructional materials aligned with ASHP/ACPE accreditation standards and industry best practices.
Ensure the program maintains compliance with state and national certification and education requirements (e.g., ASHP/ACPE, PTCB, NHA).
Develop syllabi, lesson plans, lab simulations, and course assessments.
Coordinate student schedules, rotations, and experiential learning opportunities.
