**Job Description**

The pharmacy intern is responsible for assisting in the developing, implementing, and evaluating the pharmacy technician training program. This role ensures the program meets accreditation and regulatory requirements, prepares students for certification and workforce readiness, and fosters relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support clinical training experiences..

**Qualifications**

+ Associates degree required, or combination of education and applicable work experience. (Current pharmacy student's eligible)
+ 2-3 hospital pharmacy experience required; IV admixture experience preferred.
+ 1-2 years of pharmacy teaching experience
+ Pharmacy Tech certification (CPhT) required (through PTCB or AHA); or currently enrolled in Pharmacy school; Current NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician license and registration certificate preferred
