Job Purpose:
Perform technical duties under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs in NUH. Assist the senior pharmacist in charge to provide supervision to pharmacy support staff and to coordinate activities within a section to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Operations:
Process medication orders, pick and pack medicines according to SOPs, perform medication reconciliation including counting and sorting prescriptions, and handle billing functions.
Automation Management:
Manage deblistering and unit dose repackaging systems (IPAS, OPAS, ATDPS), oversee automated dispensing cabinet setup, resolve system problems, and ensure quality control of repackaged products from external vendors.
Security Management:
Maintain active security systems and ensure security of stocks, premises and stored information at all times.
