SUMMARY

Works under the supervision ofthe Pharmacy Coordinator or Pharmacist. The shift for this role is full-time rotating shift (days and evenings) with weekend work required. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job Duties

Performs job responsibilities in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, performance improvement objectives and environmental and infection control standards.

Coordinates daily workflow in assigned area and provides leadership to other technicians. Performs extemporaneous compounding. Repackages bulk medications into unit dose per departmental policy and procedure. Enters charges and credits and restocks returns.

Makes good decisions, accepts responsibilities, and maintains competency in multiple areas.
