**Clinical Pharmacist - Pharmacy**

As Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the procuring manufacturing compounding dispensing distributing storing and administration of drugs biologicals and chemicals according to standard practices of the professional State and Federal laws and regulations and Departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for provision of drug information to other health professionals patients and their families and the public.

**Job Functions:**

+ Supervises technician staff and checks and validates their work; new orders, I.V. admixtures, patient medication bins, pre-packing, and other work necessitating the judgement of a pharmacist.
+ Enters, reviews, and/or validates computer order entry of physician orders and ensures appropriateness of drug therapy relative to the particular patient.
