Position Overview
Pharmacists at Seattle Children's Hospital provide safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care for a wide range of pediatric patients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of the medication use process, managing collaborative drug therapy agreements, therapeutic drug monitoring, providing drug information, developing departmental and organizational guidelines, precepting pharmacy learners, staff supervision, and providing education to health care professionals, patients, and caregivers.
Pharmacists participate in rounding when applicable.
**Hematology-Oncology Specific Responsibilities:**
Facilitates transitions of care of oncology and transplanted patients by:
+ Counseling patients and caregivers regarding medication therapy.
