Responsibilities Serves as the Chief Pharmacist at a Federal Bureau of Prisons' correctional facility. Responsible for all aspects of pharmacy operations including dispensing, pharmaceutical care, clinical and community relations, and accreditation compliance. Plans and provides a completely integrated pharmacy program and coordinates these programs with all other departments within the institution. This includes the provision of pharmacy services, which may include inpatient, outpatient, parenteral preparations, and logistical solutions to satellite facilities including detention centers, camps, WitSec units, administrative detention, and disciplinary segregation.
