PRIMARY ROLE: The Pharmacist is accountable to the Senior Pharmacist to function within the scope and guidelines as set out by the Health Practice Commission & Pharmacy Council and Laws of the Cayman Islands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Professional services relating to the dispensing of medications:

• Counselling patients.
• Providing drug information to patients, nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Introducing professional services to patients such as follow up phone calls.
• Pharmaco-therapy monitoring.
• Conducting in-service training for staff.
• Keeping patient profiles current on a patient by patient basis.
