AIM AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the role is to act as a personal tutor for pastoral and academic matters, providing tutorial support for full time students, supervising their academic progress, setting ambitious targets and encouraging students to raise their aspirations to ensure students achieve their individual potential.
KEY ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Pastoral and Academic Support:
To follow the direction of the Curriculum Resource and Quality Leader for the department regarding the content and delivery of group Tutorial programmes and to liaise and collaborate with Learner Services Staff and Learning Centres where neededTo participate in the design and delivery of curriculum specific induction and tutorial programmes.
