Personal Assistant for senior gentleman P/T – Leeds – LS13

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to support an individual with global aphasia. This is a rewarding role for someone patient, understanding, and able to provide consistent, person‑centred care.

About the Role

The client has global aphasia and limited verbal communication. The successful candidate will need to communicate clearly, slowly, and use simple language.

The client also has right‑sided paralysis and is insulin‑dependent diabetic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day personal support and assistance
• Communicate effectively using clear and simple language
• Support mobility and accompany the client on activities, including long walks (often 6+ miles)
• Meal prepping/light house work
• Ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times
