St. Joseph s Health is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join its well-established Hospitalist team as a Nocturnist at St. Joseph s Hospital in Syracuse, New York, delivering high-quality, mission-driven inpatient care in a supportive, physician-led environment with strong specialty backup.
Job Description: The Nocturnist Physician will:
- Provide overnight inpatient care at St. Joseph s Hospital (7 PM 7 AM schedule)
- Work a 7-on/7-off rotation with 12-hour shifts
- Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients overnight
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
- Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR
- Provide closed ICU overnight rounding on Hospitalist patients
