Under the supervision/collaboration with an Anesthesiologist and/or surgeon/attending physician, performs a variety of professional patient care duties, such as: - evaluation of and administering anesthetics to patients for surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic and obstetric procedures - reviewing patient data to determine the equipment and anesthetic technique to be used - informing the patient regarding anesthesia procedures - observing, monitoring, and documenting the anesthetized patient s condition - initiating remedial measures in response to patient s condition - keeping current regarding methods and techniques
