An exciting opportunity has become available within Bridgend County Borough Council Catering Services department.

Catering Services provide meals in primary, special and secondary schools across the borough for pupils and staff via a service level agreement with the individual schools.

Applications are invited for the above position as Peripatetic (Mobile/Multi-Site) Cook to manage and co-ordinate day to day activities at various school kitchens in the County Borough, ensuring a quality service is provided to all customers.

You will be responsible for menu planning, portion control, preparation and cooking, administration duties and supervision of staff.

Previous experience of food preparation and cooking for large numbers, supervision, allocation of duties and training would be an advantage, along with Health & Safety, security, administrative duties, specialist and cultural ...
