Location: Garden City, NY | Schedule: Up to 19 hours per week | Status: Non-Exempt |Salary Range: $22/hour

The Opportunity

Family and Children’s Association (FCA) is seeking Credentialed Family Peer Advocates to join our Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) Program. In this role, Family Peer Advocates will provide client-centered support to families caring for youth experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges across home, school, placement, or community settings.

Responsibilities


+ Conduct home and community visits to educate clients on parenting techniques and advocacy skills.

+ Assist families in accessing community resources to enhance their support networks.
