The Department of Pediatrics - House Staff Education is currently seeking a chief resident who will serve as a direct report to the pediatric program director. Job duties include patient care, teaching, and administration. Those duties include but are not limited to the following:
PATIENT CARE:
- Direct care of patients at the Harris County Hospital District Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in Pasadena.
TEACHING:
- Supervision/teaching of medical students; Supervision/teaching of residents.
- Providing patient care at Texas Children's Hospital and the Harris County Hospital District hospitals and clinics.
- Scheduling and conducting teaching conferences.
