This role at JPOCSC seeks an adult or pediatric epileptologist to cater to patients transitioning from BC Children’s Hospital. You will help assess young adults under 30 experiencing first seizures or new epilepsy diagnoses. There is also a chance to contribute to pioneering multidisciplinary programs and support operational development of the 2-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized care for transitioning epilepsy patients
• Develop programs for tuberous sclerosis complex and epileptic encephalopathies
• Assess young adults with epilepsy or first seizures
• Support the 2-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit development
