The Pediatric Oncology Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents diagnosed with cancer. This role involves supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, including chemotherapy, supportive care, and recovery, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and emotional support for both patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing cancer treatment in the oncology unit or ward.
Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments, reporting any changes promptly.
