Geisinger is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Danville, PA.
Job Duties

Opportunity Details

+ Schedule rotate between Peds ID physicians

+ Clinic hours: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes outpatient, inpatient rounding, and Peds ID consults)

+ Outpatient clinics: rotate among Peds ID physicians

+ Call coverage: Peds ID physicians and CHOP Peds ID.

+ Limited O/N call coverage (5 Weekday o/n) and weekend coverage (1 weekend per month)

+ O/N calls are light; all are phone-call only


+ Pediatric ID is a consultative service

+ One physician partner with a collaboration with Pediatric Specialties

+ Nurse coordinator helps to manage Epic in Basket and referrals

+ AI dictation

+ Telemedicine available

+ 41 bed NICU

+ 14 bed PICU

+ 36 beds Children’s 2 and Children’s 3
