The PCICU Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized critical care to infants and children with complex congenital and acquired heart conditions, including patients recovering from cardiac surgery. The ideal candidate must have strong clinical expertise in pediatric cardiac critical care and the ability to perform effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU).
Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, hemodynamic status, and overall condition, reporting any significant changes immediately.
