Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a skilled pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist committed to patient care and resident and fellow education. Applicant must have additional training or work experience in congenital cardiac anesthesia. The UNC Hospitals is a busy quaternary care medical center that, through the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, provides over 12,000 anesthetics per year to the children of North Carolina and surrounding states. North Carolina Children’s Hospital has a 20 bed multidisciplinary PICU with dedicated Pediatric Cardiac ICU ( PCICU ) capacity and medical direction.
