Expand the regional epilepsy program at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre as a specialized epileptologist. Focus on delivering exceptional care for complex epilepsy patients transitioning from pediatric services.
This role involves collaborating with an established team of epileptologists, developing programs for patients with conditions like tuberous sclerosis complex and epileptic encephalopathies. You will assess young adults under age 30 experiencing first seizures or new diagnoses, enhancing care for non-transition patients as well. Additionally, you will support the operationalization of a new Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital while providing outpatient services at JPOCSC.
