Position Overview

The Pedagogical Leader position is full time (40 hours per week) and is a temporary contract position with a possibility of extension. The Pedagogical Leader is an onsite leader in the BGC Warman Early Learning Centre (operated by BGC Saskatoon) and is responsible for the provision of a high‑quality early learning program for children, which implements the vision and principles of Play and Exploration: Early Learning Program Guide. The Pedagogical Leader supports the professional development and growth of the employees and requires expertise and skill in early learning principles and practice as well as adult learning in order to provide leadership to the organization and ensure positive outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education Level III
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in the childcare field (leadership in childcare would be considered an asset)
