Position Overview
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the close supervision of the Finance Division Manager, provides broad administrative and clerical support in the accounting department, assisting with data capture, report generation, and coordination with other work units within the department to improve work efficiency.
1. Calculating and distributing salaries, overtime, bonuses, and other pay accurately and on schedule.
2. Applying correct deductions for taxes, social security, medical aid, and benefits.
3. Preserving updated pay history, leave balances, tax documents, benefits, and employment changes.
4. Following all local, state, and federal payroll regulations to avoid penalties.
5. Handling questions about pay slips, tax withholdings, leave payouts, and other pay issues.
