Position Overview
Responsibilities:
- Recording and documentation of absence data, including employee notifications, validation by supervisors and data entry
- Recording and calculation of vacation entitlement, including credit calculation and compliance
- Classification of absence types (paid vs. unpaid)
- Payroll adjustments related to absences, including salary deductions for unpaid absences, processing of paid leave, overtime and shift adjustments
- Integration of time tracking and attendance data
- Ensuring compliance and proper documentation in line with legal and union requirements, including audit trails
- Preparation of reports and analyses (absence reports, trends, cost tracking, employee notifications)
- Employee communication and support related to absence management, policies and reintegration processes
