We are partnering with a client to hire a Payroll Specialist for a short-term assignment focused on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across a multi-state workforce. This is a critical, hands-on role supporting payroll operations for fewer than 500 employees.


Key Responsibilities

+ Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll for under 500 employees

+ Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll execution

+ Manage deductions, taxes, and adjustments

+ Audit payroll data and resolve discrepancies

+ Maintain payroll records and support reporting needs

+ Partner with HR and accounting on payroll-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

+ Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required – must have)

+ Proven experience processing multi-state payroll
