Position Overview
The Payroll Compliance & Efficiency Specialist will be responsible for researching, applying to Thrivent’s situation, recommending changes, and then implementing changes to ensure that Thrivent’s current Workday payroll setup compliant with all applicable payroll tax laws, regulations, and company policies for the company’s complex, nationwide workforce. In addition to the primary focus on compliance, this position will also serve as a backup to the payroll processors and the payroll audit function.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Independently reviews and validates compliance in Thrivent’s Workday payroll setup, making recommendations and partnering with other areas of Human Resources to make changes as needed
