Position Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for all payroll functions within the dealership(s).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Collect employee insurance premiums through payroll in a timely manner.
+ Reconcile benefit invoices monthly.
+ Enter new employees into payroll system and terminate exiting employees.
+ Maintain absence reports and employee receivables reports.
+ Issue manual/void checks as needed.
+ Complete ad hoc reports for Corporate as needed.
+ Process and reconcile payroll on a bi-monthly schedule. Ensure all payroll deductions are correct.
+ Electronic filing of taxes each payday to comply with time restrictions
+ Posting EFT transfers into accounting. Reconcile payroll bank accounts monthly.
+ Create payroll reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly, miscellaneous) and pay items as needed.
