Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our client in Reno, Nevada. This is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for someone who is passionate about payroll operations and administrative support. The role involves processing payroll and providing administrative support for the team as needed. This is a part time job opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Review and approve employee timecards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for a diverse workforce
• Prepare and maintain payroll-related reports, including tax filings, garnishments, and deductions.
• Conduct audits of I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with employment regulations.
• Verify and cross-reference benefits enrollments and deductions for new hires.
• Scan, organize, and file payroll and HR-related paperwork for record-keeping purposes.
