Position Overview
Role – Payroll Administrator
Location – Edinburgh City Centre (hybrid working – office days are Tuesday and Wednesday)
Hours of Work – Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week
Rate of Pay - £16.07
Duration – 6 months with possible extension
Start Date – As soon as possible
Pertemps are recruiting for our public sector client for Payroll Administrators to support their established team.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Processing payroll on a monthly basis
Liaising with colleagues in HR regarding starters and leavers
Handling deductions (including tax, NI and salary sacrifice)
Carrying out pension calculations and ensuring these are administered correctly
Processing statutory payments
Maintaining payroll records and updating as required
Preparing reports
Investigating and responding to queries raised
Carrying out reconciliations
Any other tasks as required
