Job Title: Senior Payroll and Benefits Specialist – Canada
Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Reports To: Corporate Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prevailing wage requirements; support ongoing process improvements.
- Support biweekly Canadian payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour legislation, tax regulations, union agreements, and company policies.
- Perform accurate calculation, deduction, and remittance of union dues in accordance with collective agreements and regulatory requirements.
