Join our Mississauga-based IT consulting firm as a Payroll and Accounting Specialist. This hybrid role focuses on payroll cycles and financial operations management.
We seek an individual with 2–5 years of payroll and billing experience to manage payroll processing, timesheet validation, and client invoicing. You will assist with month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel are required for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage bi-weekly payroll for contractors and employees
• Validate timesheets for accuracy and completeness
• Oversee billing and invoicing for clients
• Prepare and post journal entries related to payroll
• Assist in financial reporting and audit preparation
Requirements:
• 2–5 years of payroll or accounting support experience
