Job Summary:
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all university employees. This position ensures payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations and university policies while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of payroll records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process and administer payroll for faculty, staff, and student employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment.Maintain payroll records and manage payroll activities including time reporting, deductions, tax withholdings, and payroll reporting in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Prepare and reconcile payroll-related reports, including payroll accounts reconciled to the general ledger.Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and assist with required tax filings and year-end reporting (e.g., W-2s).Develop, maintain, and improve payroll p...
