Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join their accounting and finance team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting accounting functions, payroll reconciliations, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

+ Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.

+ Review and audit payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, taxes, bonuses, and commissions.

+ Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts to the general ledger.

+ Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

+ Partner with Human Resources to process new hires, terminations, benefit changes, and employee updates.

+ Prepare payroll tax filings and assist with year-end reporting, including W-2 processing.
