The Paving Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily asphalt paving field operations, coordinating with owners and general contractors, and organizing crews and sub-contractors. They ensure contracts are completed safely, on time, on budget, in compliance with specifications and customer expectations, provide accurate revenue and cost information to the accounting staff in a timely manner, and review invoices and cost reports prior to release. They play a key role in developing and maintaining the capabilities of the GVA operations organization to increase construction revenue and profitability, coaching and mentoring direct reports, and promoting a culture of agility, collaboration, and empowerment.
