Register emergency department patients, manage admissions and discharges, collect A&E fees and inpatient deposits, and provide financial counselling to patients and families.
Handle walk-in and hotline enquiries professionally, apply proper telephone etiquette, follow up on cases to closure, and assist patients and visitors with their needs.
Coordinate appointments via EPIC and with Specialist Outpatient Clinics, ensuring all EMD appointment requests are completed within three working days.
Provide timely updates on patient status to relatives, liaise with doctors and nurses for information sharing, and proactively identify patients or families requiring assistance.
Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensure equipment and materials are up to date, participate in meetings and quality improvement initiatives, and carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
