Supports and monitors the risk management program taking a proactive approach to help minimize and mitigate clinical risk
Supports internal risk identification mechanisms including but not limited to incident reports, medical record reviews, clinical audits, patient complaints, claims and risk assessments
Investigates patient safety issues and incidents within the organization and reports patient safety data in actionable formats
Demonstrates a strong overview of the progress of incident and complaint investigations and ensures the Director of Risk Management is informed of any issues or risks
Supports the process for reporting and updating information relating to patient safety incidents, complaints and near misses
