**Job Description:**

**Position Summary:** The Patient Registration Associate (PRA) is an experienced, flexible, highly organized individual, who provides support for all Divisions within the Department of Surgery, as well as the Highland Procedures Center. This includes greeting patients and visitors, verifying patient demographics and insurance, scheduling appointments, medical records management and telephone management. Responsible for accurate and timely input of all collected information into the Hospital information systems. Manages patient flow and communicates with patients and staff to ensure the highest level of patient centered care and operational efficiency. He/she is a team player that follows established division center policies and procedures and demonstrates all ICare values.
