Position Summary

The Patient Payment Estimator is a key member of the Financial Clearance team, responsible for developing accurate patient payment estimates to support pre-service collections. This role gathers and analyzes information from multiple systems and sources to create clear, compliant estimates that guide patient financial discussions. The estimator collaborates with internal teams and communicates effectively with patients while ensuring adherence to all state and federal guidelines.



Key Responsibilities


+ Prepare accurate patient payment estimates using established standard operating procedures

+ Collect and verify patient and payer information from Epic work queues, payer websites, Health Information Technology systems, and Patient Accounting systems
