The role:

Actively facilitate and support the safe, effective, timely discharges for all patients within the medical specialities, improving patient flow and care experience under the direction of the band 7.

To assist in the identification of appropriate boarding patients and patients who are from other catchment areas, to ensure beds are utilised effectively/ appropriately.

To assist in the accurate documentation of PDDs.
